To uninstall Search Guard Plus and/or the Search Guard Plus Updater, please follow
the instructions below:
1. Click on "Start" and then click on "Control Panel"
2. Inside the Control Panel, locate the "Add or Remove Program" icon and double
click it
3. Locate the "Search Guard Plus" button on the right side and click "Change/Remove"

I no longer want Fast Browser Search as my default tab provider. How do I remove it?
You can remove Fast Browser Search as your default tab provider by removing the Fast Browser Search toolbar (and, if you installed Search Guard Plus, then by removing Search Guard Plus and the Search Guard Plus Updater, as well).

I uninstalled the Fast Browser Search toolbar and Search Guard Plus, but Fast Browser Search is still my default tab provider. What should I do now?
If you are still seeing Fast Browser Search as your default tab provider, please re-start your computer. This should remove it.

I have Internet Explorer 8 and have removed the Fast Browser Search toolbar and Search Guard Plus. Why is Fast Browser Search still my default search provider?
When you downloaded Search Guard Plus in Internet Explorer 8, you agreed to allow us to "prevent programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider".
How do I change my default search provider to someone else?
If you would like to change your default search provider, it is easy. In your browser:
- Click "Tools"
- Click "Manage Add-Ons"
- Click "Search Providers"
- Click on the search provider that you would prefer
- Click "Set as default"
I would also like to change the setting which prevents programs from suggesting changes to my default search provider. How do I do that?
